Nate and Harshada’s story began in 2015, when they both started their first jobs at Axtria Inc. in New Jersey. What began as friendly lunches and spirited debates about customer segmentation models soon became the foundation of a close friendship.
In 2019, Harshada moved to Hoboken—just two blocks away from Nate’s apartment. Nate helped her choose the perfect place and even carried her boxes up the narrow stairs to her second-floor walk-up on move-in day. Before long, their Friday nights became a tradition: a couple of beers at Cork City, their favorite neighborhood bar, sharing conversation and laughter.
Then, on April 1st, 2022, Harshada decided to take a leap and asked Nate out. Nate said yes without hesitation—and the friendship that had started years earlier blossomed into something even more special.
Richmond Pond has always held a special place in Nate’s heart. His grandmother’s cabin there was a beloved summer retreat throughout his childhood. Since they began dating, Harshada joined Nate on many of those cherished visits, and together they created countless memories by the water. It quickly became their place—peaceful, nostalgic, and full of love.
So when it came time to choose a wedding venue for their stateside ceremony (the two had already been married twice—once in a civil ceremony and again at an incredible wedding in India!), there was no better choice than Balderdash Cellars, a quaint winery just across the lake from Nate’s grandmother’s cabin. So after their first look on the dock by the cabin, it was off to the venue for the ceremony.
The celebration was a true fusion of cultures, with Harshada’s Indian friends and family and Nate’s American friends and family coming together for a night of multicultural music, food, and lots and lots of fun.
Nate and Harshada, we were so happy to be part of your third charming wedding celebration in such a beautiful location. Wishing you both all the best!
