Victoria and Brendan first “met” online while they were both back in their hometown, though their lives had crossed paths countless times before. They were two years apart but attended the same school and the same church, and Brendan even played hockey with Victoria’s brother. Later, they both went on to Providence College, where they shared the same major—Psychology. They often referred to their love story as a real-life example of the “invisible string theory,” which describes an unseen connection that links two people, often suggesting they are destined to meet or be together. In short, ‘twas fate!
After three years together, they came full circle and settled into their own home in their hometown. When it came time for the wedding, Victoria had always dreamed of getting married on the Cape—and once she and Brendan saw Wychmere, they knew it was perfect. They fell in love with the Harbor Room’s modern white-and-wood décor and sweeping water views. Victoria also got ready at her parents’ house in Chatham, a place filled with memories since her family had owned it from the time she was four years old.
For the ceremony, Victoria most looked forward to the moment she and Brendan would first see each other. She envisioned something romantic and deeply family-oriented, especially since her brother was officiating. On the wedding day, guests remarked on how beautifully he led the ceremony and how moving the couple’s personal vows were.
The reception was pure joy. Guests enjoyed signature drinks featuring portraits of the couple’s two cats, and later in the night, the dance floor came alive with the DJ’s music as the bride and groom’s wonderful family and friends surrounded them in celebration of a wedding that truly felt written in the stars.
Victoria and Brendan, we were so happy to be with you on your wedding day and to document this chapter in your love story! Wishing you all the best in the many years to come.
