Ally and Jeff first met at Northeastern University and became friends around 2016. Over time, their connection grew stronger through shared experiences with mutual friends. In the fall of 2018, a group trip to San Diego brought them even closer, and shortly afterward, they officially hit it off during a festive Santa Claus Bar Crawl. From that night on, they’ve been practically inseparable.
When choosing a wedding location, the Cape was a natural choice. Jeff spent his childhood summers in Falmouth visiting his grandparents, while Ally’s family vacationed on the Outer Cape. Falmouth also holds special meaning as the setting of their first summer together, and in 2022, they purchased a home there, which they’ve been lovingly renovating side by side.
True to their shared love of hosting and celebrating, Ally and Jeff approached their wedding celebration as the most memorable event they’d ever planned. What excited them most was bringing all their favorite people together in one place. Many of the day’s details were thoughtfully created by hand—from designing and letter pressing the menus and invitations in their kitchen to building a seating chart featuring framed photos (each one taken by the couple) of places they’ve traveled together. During cocktail hour, guests were invited to enjoy a custom crossword puzzle filled with personal clues about the couple and as a nod to their college days—and their beloved dog, Miller—they’ll also be serving bottles of Miller Lite, a lighthearted tribute that’s sure to make their longtime crew smile.
Ally and Jeff, thank you for making us part of your wonderful, windy Wychmere wedding! 🙂 It was lovely to be with you and document all of the lovely moments from your day. All the best to you both ( and Miller!) in the years to come.
Thank you Organic Photography for the wonderful portrait!
