Sydney and Ben ~ A Romantic and Intimate Wedding at the Migis Lodge in Sebago, ME

Sydney and Ben have been together for nearly seven years, and their story began in Israel while traveling on Birthright. At the time, Sydney was living in Washington, D.C., and Ben was based in Los Angeles, but their connection during the trip was immediate and undeniable — both knew they had found someone special.

After returning home, they stayed in constant contact. Sydney visited Ben in Boston while he was back on the East Coast visiting family, and made several trips out to Los Angeles as well. During one of those LA visits, they exchanged “I love you’s” for the first time and began planning their future together. Both were ready for a change and, having heard great things about Denver, they set their sights on Colorado. When Sydney landed a job with the Denver Nuggets, she made the move first, and Ben soon followed.

Sydney and Ben share a deep love for Maine and being by the water. Migis Lodge was the perfect wedding location for them — a place filled with meaning and memories. Ben grew up spending summers in Maine with his family, and since they started dating, Sydney has fallen in love with Migis too. Over the years, it has become a special part of their relationship and they wanted to share this meaningful place with their closest family and friends.
