Kelsey and David first connected online, but their paths had nearly crossed many times before. Growing up just a few towns apart, their lives unknowingly overlapped during high school and college. One of David’s friends even went to prom with Kelsey’s friend, and the group got ready at Kelsey’s house. Early in their relationship, David invited Kelsey to a “family dinner” with friends—where two familiar faces stood out. One was a college classmate of Kelsey’s, and the other was Morgan, whom she knew from both her freshman and senior years. Morgan, now a close friend of David’s, will also serve as their wedding officiant.
As they continued dating, the coincidences kept adding up. They discovered a shared love for the Prescott Park concerts in Portsmouth, NH—and even had videos from the same show, recorded months before they met. In David’s clip, Kelsey and her brother can be seen running up on stage during a moment when the band invited the crowd up. That fleeting moment, captured six months before their first conversation, felt like fate.
The couple chose The Three Chimneys for its historic charm and beautiful gardens. Since both attended UNH, the town of Durham holds a special place in their hearts. On the wedding day, Kelsey was especially excited for their first look, private vows, and the meaningful words shared by their officiant, best man, and maid of honor. The presence of her grandmothers made the day even more special. For David, the most meaningful moment was standing at the altar together, surrounded by family and friends.
Though rain poured during the ceremony, it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Their wedding was a joyful celebration of love, serendipity, and the beautiful journey ahead.
Kelsey and David, its was so lovely to be part of your lovely, cozy wedding day. Thank you so much for having us with you!
