Caroline and Barry met at the wedding of their close friends back in 2019 and began dating soon after. This fun loving and good natured couple matched up in so many ways including their friendships, careers and most lately, their love of their pup Wheezie. Caroline, who works in publishing, was thrilled when she learned that The Mount, the home of novelist Edith Wharton, was also a wedding venue. The couple was excited for a modern and romantic wedding in the heart of the Berkshires, surrounded by all the people they care about.
We started our day with the bride and groom at their first look in the stunning gardens of The Mount, surrounded by the changing leaves of the New England Autumn. After a lovely photo session with the wedding party, guests soon arrived and made their way into what was once the expansive kitchen garden, now filled with flowers. White chairs lined the gravel paths and the ceremony site was decorated with deep red, peach, pink and ivory florals. With the ceremony officiated by friends Tim and Erica, the couple that had the wedding where Caroline and Barry originally met at, bride and groom recited personal vows and sealed the deal with a kiss.
Next was onto the celebration as guests gathered on the grand, awning covered back deck of the house before heading into the candle lit and glittering reception tent for dinner, toasts and dancing. Indeed the dance floor was on fire for much of the night with the band filling the tent with music and bride and groom right at the center!
Caroline and Barry, thank you so much for having us at your beautiful wedding! Wishing you both the best in the many years to come.
Thank you Tom and Chris and Jon for all of your hard work on this one!
