Chris and Ashley first met 2015 in the San Francisco Bay Area (Chris’s home town!) at work. From coworkers to friends the relationship grew steadily and after romance blossomed, the two moved in together in 2017. Soon after their little family grew with the addition of their pup Emma. In 2019 they all moved back to Ashley’s home state of MA and found a new home in Salem, again adding a family member, Woodrow, a second pup to enjoy the new backyard with Emma! The bride and groom were excited to share the North Shore with family and friends and introduce them to the incredible Crane Estate with its beautiful gardens, rolling hills and ocean views.
We started our day with the couple as they finished getting ready for their day with the wedding party. Ashely buttoned up the back of her lovely lace wedding gown and Chris had a final toast with the gents. Next was the first look in the Italian garden. The groom waiting as the bride approached clutching her bouquet of lavender, blush rose and ivory with her flowing veil over her arm. The first look was wonderful with a few tears from the groom (so glad you had a hanky!) and a few spins from the bride to show off her dress.
After a very fun photo session with family, friends and wedding party the couples took a moment before the ceremony to sign their Ketubah and enjoy a blessing from Chris’s family, both celebrating their Jewish and Indian heritage. The Grand Allee was set with bright white chairs and more lush florals for the ceremony. Bride and groom gave sweet personal vows and sealed the deal with a kiss!
The celebration came next with guests scattered on the green lawn of the estate as the sun slowly dipped. Under the tent, family and friends cheered as the couple entered and took the dance floor for their (beautifully choreographed and performed) first dance! Wonderful toasts and dancing followed including a lively Hora!
Ashley and Chris, thank you so much for having us as your beautiful wedding. Congratulations to you both, what a perfect day!
