Shelbie and Anthony met 6 years ago at a youth dance held at their church. Shelbie saw Anthony and “thought he was cute” and made her way over to him to ask him to dance. The friendship blossomed quickly and they kept in touch, speaking every day, despite living over an hour away from each other. They began dating a few years later after Anthony returned from a church mission. When college acceptance letters were rolling in they had hoped that they would both to get into Brigham Young University so they could continue to see each other, They were thrilled when they were both accepted and they years in college were a lovely time to get to know each other better. Shelbie said, “…even thought we were young, we knew we didn’t want to leave each others side.”
Our bride and groom were excited to gather family and friends for a joyful and fun celebration at the historic Lyman Estate in Waltham. Indeed the elegance and sophistication of the venue was the perfect setting for the romance and charm of the day. Having been married the day before, we started with the bride and groom as they readied themselves before coming together for photos and then with their guests on the green lawn of the estate under the perfect April sunshine. All were treated to wonderful toasts from their parents before setting into dinner.
Shelbie and Anthony were especially excited to treat their guests to wonderful food throughout the day. These two confessed “foodies” not only brought a donut truck for guests to enjoy but also a cotton candy cart! Before dinner began, it was time to welcome the bride and groom to the dance floor for their first dance. Family and friends encircled the dance floor as Shelbie and Anthony had their first dance as husband and wife. The celebration continues into the night with guests filling the dance floor and lining up for donuts and cotton candy. Or last moment with the couple were as they stole a moment together outside as the sun went down on their lovely day.
Shelbie and Anthony, thank you so much for having us at your lovely celebration!
