Sarah + Matt ~ A Beautiful Waterfront Wedding at the Beauport in Gloucester, MA

Sarah and Matt met when fate smiled upon the Coffee Meets Bagel app and brought them together for their first date. On that first date, both were struck by how comfortable and natural they felt together. It was a totally unique experience for them. Now over five years later, that wonderful first date led them to their wedding day!

The bride and groom picked the Beauport after their first visit there. With its stunning views by the water and the open and breezy feeling of the hotel spaces they knew it was the perfect spot for their ceremony and celebration.

We started our day at the couples first look. Sarah and Matt were really looking forward to having this quiet moment alone before the excitement of the day. As they had said, “We will both likely be full of nerves so it will be so nice to come back to each other for the first look“, and indeed it was a very sweet moment we were so happy to capture including their practice kiss! Then after a very fun photo session with their wedding party it was time for the ceremony.

The scene was set for the ceremony with light pouring in through the windows and lush flowers of lavender, periwinkle blue and ivory to match the brides bouquet. After sweet vows and perfect kiss, Sarah and Matt walked back down the aisle as their family and friends applauded and cheered.

Next was on to the celebration. Husband and wife entered the reception hall once again to the cheers and applause of the guests. They took the floor for their first dance ending in lovely little dip at the end. After some wonderful toasts the dance floor was open and immediately filled with family and friends.
