Nicole and Nick ~ A Dreamy Lakeside Wedding at Church Landing in Meredith, NH

Nicole and Nick met at UNH in the Spring of their Junior year.  Nicole’s roommate and Nick’s best friend were dating and the two met at an on Campus party. They felt an instant connection and began dating at the end of their senior year. Over eight years later Nicole and Nick were so excited to be married especially after a postponement the previous year!

Lake Winnipesaukee has always been a special place for our bride and groom. The two were engaged at the lake and Nicole’s family has a home close by and summers were always spent there. Although the two were previously married in a private ceremony the year before, they count wait to gather all of their family and friends together and get married with them, sharing the very special vows that they had saved to share.

We started our day with Nicole and Nick as they got ready for their first look. Nicole was so excited to final wear the wedding dress that she had been saving for this big day. Nick wore a handsome steel gray suit with a soft green bow tie. With the sky hinting at rain, the bride made her way to her groom on the docks of the resort under a clear umbrella until she reached the gazebo overlooking the lake and her husband to be. The moment was absolutely sweet to witness.

Next was onto the ceremony on the green lawn under the beautiful sailcloth tent. White chairs in perfect rows waited for guests to arrive and the circular arbor was adorned with lush greens and lovely ivory white florals. As string lights twinkled above, guests gathered and soon the bride and groom appeared. Nicole made her way down the aisle with her dad, carrying her bouquet wrapped with small keepsakes to remind her of her mom and other loved ones who were there in spirit. The bride and groom finally got to share their vows with each other and everyone present. With a kiss and a roaring cheer from the crowd, the who finally made their way down the aisle as husband and wife!

Next was cocktail hour with the NH sky giving way to a rainbow to bless the day. Guests enjoyed cocktails and conversation then made their way into the dining room for dinner and toasts. Bride and groom entered to more cheers and after glasses clinked to the bride and groom the dance floor was open and it was time to party!
