Anneka and Tommy were married at the historic Wentworth by the Sea in New Castle, NH. This turn of the century hotel is one of a few Grand Hotels left in the area that provide the unique atmosphere just perfect for the wedding of two unique and seemingly fated people!
Our bride and groom almost met over a decade ago, and then a few years later, and then again. As it was, Tommy had known Anneka’s family through her brother and parents for years before ever meeting Anneka. But the first night they met, although they never spoke, Anneka felt a little earthquake upon first laying her eyes on Tommy. A few days later, Tommy joined Anneka’s family on a trip to an art exhibit. The two circled like satellites throughout the day, chatting occasional then left each others orbit until months later when Anneka mother brought the two back together, rather slyly, for dinner in Boston with family and friends. The connection was finally made. And the rest, as they say, is history.
We started our day with Anneka and Tommy as they got ready with family and friends. Gifts were exchanged and a few tears shed as the two prepared for their first look together in the garden. After a lovely moment at first look with Tommy declaring happily, “We are getting married” to which Anneka beamed, it was on to the ceremony. The weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding and the setting under the gazebo in the garden created the ultimate backdrop for an intimate and cozy wedding ceremony. The bride and groom recited wonderful personal vows before their guests, exchanged rings and were finally declared husband and wife as they kissed and strode joyfully back down the aisle.
Next it was on to the reception in a room filled with glittering candles and chandeliers with pops of red strawberries in the awaiting champagne classes and dusty pink roses on the cake. The bride and groom entered and had their first dance which ended in a perfect dip! All were treated to loving toasts and a lively dance floor as the new married couple and their guests celebrated their union together.
Anneka and Tommy, thank you for having us at your lovely wedding celebration. It was wonderful getting to know you both and wish you all the best in your many years to come. 🙂
