Samantha and Anthony were married at Samanthas family home in Falmouth, ME. This cozy wedding was “take two” on original plans from the previous year. The couple was so happy to finally gather with loved ones and celebrate after the long wait!
We started our day with Samantha as she got ready for first look. After a lovely reveal of her gown to gathered bridesmaids and family, she put on her finishing touches before going to see her husband to be. The most lovely of these touches was from her grandmother, a gift of the diamond studs she had worn most of her life and was now giving to her granddaughter on her wedding day.
A favorite moment from the day for the couple was first look. This sweet Monet took place in the shade of the lawn with dappled sun coming through the leaves and, yes we saw you, family and friends peeking through the window from inside! 🙂
Next was on to the Ketubah signing and the following ceremony outside in the sunshine. Under the sailcloth tent and a floral arch lush with bold colored flowers and greenery, the exchanged vows, rings and finally, their first kiss as husband and wife.
Next was on to the celebration! Guests were treated to beautiful tables filed with delightful treats and beautiful decor as they enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn. Under the tent the couple had their first dance and were treated to wonderful toasts. The dance floor was soon full with our bride and groom raised up on chairs in celebration.
Samantha and Anthony, thank you for making us part of your beautiful day. We were so happy to finally see you wed at your magical backyard wedding!
