Alyssa and Dan were cyber-sweethearts, meeting online four years ago. While the meeting was a modern one, the courtship was old fashioned and the two have been together ever since that first date.
While their original plans were to get married in Italy, our couple found their Italian inspiration at the beautiful Crane Estate on Castle Hill in the north shore of Massachusetts. This Stuart Style mansion was built in 1928 and is known for its incredible landscaped grounds including the famed Italian garden.
We started our day with Alyssa and she got ready for her first look with Dan in the bright and sunny bridal suite of the mansion. The first look took place down in the Casino Complex at the far end of the Grand Allée. What a sweet moment to witness as Alyssa drifted down the marble steps just behind Dan and indeed took him by surprise as he turned around to see her!
The ceremony took place on the cloistered veranda at the back of the Great House overlooking the Grand Allée. Surrounded by lush green and white florals as well as the warm hearts of their family and friends the two exchanged rings and shared a perfect first kiss.
After a dreamy cocktail hour with the sun sinking in the distance, casting long shadows on the lawn, the new mister and missus made their way, with their guests, under the sailcloth tent to the reception. The toasts were some of the favorite and most memorable moments for Alyssa and Dan as well as the welcome toast from the brides father.
Once formalities were over it was time to hit the dance floor. The live band kicked off and brought guests in to dance the night away!
Alyssa and Dan, thank you for having us at your wedding to capture your day. We don’t think we have ever seen the Crane Estate looking more magical. Wishing all the best!
