Bridget and Marty were married in North Falmouth, MA at an intimate wedding with family and friends.
Growing up in the same hometown and attending the same high school you would think we could tell a tale of high school sweethearts! But in fact, it wasn’t until years after they graduated that these two ending up circle back to each other on a Thanksgiving weekend night out in 2016.
Both coming from close knit families, our bride and groom were looking forward to bringing all of their loved ones together for the ceremony and celebration. While the guest list was a bit smaller than they had originally planned, Bridget and Marty were so grateful to gather with so many of the people in their lives that have been so loving and supportive for so many years.
Having the wedding in the Cape was an easy decision for our couple. Both had enjoyed their families summer homes in Falmouth while growing up and had many happy memories. It was the perfect place to come together for one more very special moment!
We started our day at the Sea Crest in Falmouth while the bride and groom get themselves ready for the day. Champagne was popping, ties were straightened and gowns were slipped into. At the ceremony, Bridget walked down the aisle with her dad and Marty finally got to see his bride for the first time. After the ceremony, the couple went for pictures on the beach. It was a dreamy scene with the hazy Cape Cod sunshine and blue dresses fluttering in the breeze. Then on to the crisp white tent at a family home for the reception filled with lovely Cape Cod themes like the sea shell escort “cards” and each table named after a local beach.
Bridget and Marty, thank you for having us at your wedding. It was lovely to not only be there for you but also to see some familiar faces in the crowd! Congratulations on your beautiful day!
