Kelsey and Bob – A Sweet Seaside Wedding at the OceanView in Nahant, MA

Kelsey and Bob were married on a breezy May day at the Oceanview in Nahant. Our bride and groom met in 2017 when they went to see a band with mutual friends. Bob introduced himself to Kelsey and the rest was history! Bob and Kelsey were so excited to gather family and friends together for a celebration after such a long “covid hibernation”! Bob and Kelsey chose the Oceanview because of their mutual love of the ocean and being by the water. Bob grew up sailing & spending most of his time on Long Beach Island, NJ and Kelsey snuck away to beach whenever she could. They also recently moved to Marblehead and made their dreams of living on the water come true! We started our day with Kelsey and Bob at their first look right on the beach. Indeed this was a favorite moment for them both and one that they had been looking forward to! It was only made better by the cheering crowds of family and friends on the distant balcony of the Ocean view. Next it was on to the ceremony. Another favorite moment for our couple was the reading of their personal vows. The day was also filled with personal touches including the mothers of the bride and groom presenting the rings during the ceremony, hand made boat centerpieces for the tables, hand written sand dollar escort cards and a signature cocktail named after Bob and Kelseys beloved pup Jax! The reception was filled with wonderful toasts and dancing. From the sweet first dance ending in the perfect dip to all the guests spinning and smiling on the dance floor and the touching words from toasts by loved ones.
