Ashley and Gregory – A Lovely Spring Celebration at Grand View in Mendon, MA.

Ashely and Greg were married at Grand View in Mendon, MA in early April. This wonderful waterfront venue on Nipmuc Pond was the ideal setting to celebrate a wedding and enjoy the perfect Spring weather!

Our bride and groom officially met on a dating app a year and a half before their first date. As the story goes, Greg tried contacting Ashley a couple times through the app to ask her out but she never replied! It wasn’t until a completely unrelated meeting arranged by a friend of Ashleys (who actually worked with Greg!) that fate stepped in, finally bringing them together for the long awaited first date! The rest is history as they say. 🙂

While there were still of course masks and a LiveStream for guests who could not attend in person, Ashely and Greg was so excited to have the wedding and bring so many of their family and friends together for the ceremony and celebration. One of the favorite moments of the day was when Ashleys father walked her down the aisle to Greg. What a lovely view it must have been for Greg to see his bride come down the grand staircase to him, the look on his face says it all.

After the ceremony it was onto the celebration! Ashley and Greg included some personal touches in their decor including a memorial display on the piano of photographs. The couple also treated their gusts to a cigar bar! After sweet toasts and a lovely dinner it was time to dance! While we have all spent so much time away from the ones we love this past year, to finally come together is reason enough to celebrate but add the joy of a wedding and Ashley and Gregs dance floor might have been one of the happiest places on earth that night!
