Emily and Thomas were high school sweethearts. They had been together since 2013 and went through high school, college, grad school, and their first jobs together. They were excited to become husband and wife at long last!
For their ceremony and celebration, Emily and Thomas wanted to share an intimate day with family and friends. They gathered their guests at St. Mary’s Parish for the Mass. It was especially important for the couple to be wed in a church, as their Catholic faith has played a key role in their lives and now in their marriage. For the reception, they chose The Barn at the Crane Estate. Emily had visited Crane Beach and the Estate as a girl and had always dreamed of getting married there.
There were many sweet touches and personalized details on this day. A family friend officiated the wedding, and family members also did readings at the ceremony, including Tom’s grandfather. The couple provided some fun games for their guests, including a signature cornhole board and a dry erase crossword puzzle for guests during cocktail hour. They also created the seating chart and card table themselves, incorporating table numbers coordinated with photos from every year the couple had been together.
