Emily and Brian lived in the same building in Boston and met at the local dog park with their pups. Indeed their dogs were VIPs at the wedding and rightfully deserved the honor as the matchmakers that led to this wonderful day! The bride and groom picked The Preserve for its elegant simplicity and felt it was the perfect location for the laid back New England long weekend they had envisioned.
We started our day with the bride as she got ready for her first look with her groom. Surrounded by her pups, family and friends and mementos to remember loved ones there in spirit, Emily slipped into her lovely and dress. After a first look with her dad it was time to see Brian. The two enjoyed a sweet moment alone on the sunny front porch and then took some time for photos with family, friends and wedding party.
Under the shade of the tall trees, guests gathered for the ceremony sitting on the rows of wooden benches surrounding the wedding arbor which was adorned with soft blue and purple, ivory and dusty rose flowers. Emily and Brian recited their vows and after a wonderful first kiss the two came back down the aisle as husband and wife!
Next was the celebration! Guests spread out over the green lawn under the sunshine for cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres before heading into the reception hall. Tables were covered with lush greens and more purple florals. The cake was decorated with mountain views, so much like the ones everyone at the wedding had been enjoying at cocktail hour! After heartfelt toasts and a delicious dinner, the celebration continued on the packed dance floor with guests of all ages dancing the night away!
Emily and Brian, we loved your wedding and were so happy to create your films for you. It was lovely to meet you both and your wonderful family and friends. We wish you many happy years to come! 🙂
