Lauren and Christian ~ A Cozy Wedding at the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center

Lauren and Christian met 10 years ago at work and began dating three years later. After 4 years together, Christian popped the question during a vacation to Ireland on a cliff overlooking the ocean in Howth. Although the two had put off their larger wedding in 2020, they still had an intimate ceremony to make things official but were eager to finally celebrate with family and friends at their larger gathering in 2021. Our couple chose the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center for its history and stately nature as well as for the mission of the organization. The bride and groom were looking forward to a wonderful celebration with family and friends full of fun and food!

We started our day with Lauren and Christian at their first look. Christian was looking handsome in his blue suit and purple tie as Lauren walked along the red bricks behind him, approaching in her lace gown and sparkling tiara. Though the two had already had a private ceremony before, this was clearly a moment they had been waiting for! Next they were joined by their wonderful wedding party for photos. Lovely maids and dapper men were a vision adorned in a color palette of blues and purples with red, fuchsia and burgundy florals.

Next was onto the ceremony with the sweetest of personal vows exchanged and that long awaited kiss in front of family and friends. Champagne was popped and guests gathered for cocktail hour and then onto the cozy reception hall. Lauren and Christian made a royal entrance above the crowd on the balcony overlooking their guests then made their way down to stairs to join in the celebration. It was clear, with all the special details, that the couple had spent a lot of time creating a wonderful night for their guests. From the cocktails and DJ to the cupcakes and photo booth the stage was set for a full dance floor and very fun celebration.
