Elizabeth and Keith ~ A Whimsical Waterfront Wedding in Kennebunkport, ME

College sweethearts Beth and Keith met ten years ago while attending college but it wasn’t until senior year that they started dating. While these New York city dwellers love the hustle and bustle of the big apple, they also love to make time to get out to the country to visit family. The Colony Hotel is a place Beth and Keith had traveled to before and they were so excited to finally share this unique hotel with family and friends.

We started the day with Beth and the ladies AND pup Finnley as they got ready. Once the dress was on and Beth was looking gorgeous it was time for a first look with her dad. Ooh how we love these sweet first looks with fathers! Beths fathers’ emotional reaction was so lovely to capture and for Beth was one of many favorite moments of the day. In the meanwhile Keith was getting dapper putting on his watch, straightening his tie and slipping on his jacket. First look with Keith was a family affair as Finnley joined in, certainly not to be left out of photos!

Onto the ceremony on the beautiful stone terrace. Our bride and groom stood beneath the lush floral arbor and made romantic personal vows to each other before sealing their marriage with a kiss. Its lovely to hear the cheers from the couples family and friends as the walked back down the aisle in a flurry of flower petals.

Next was on to cocktail hour. This years celebrations mean so much to everyone as for many its one of the first times they can get together after a long time! Beth and Keith made sure their guests enjoyed not only the unique setting but also made sure they had lots of fun with lawn games, delicious food and tasty cocktails.

The reception was full of beautiful pale blue florals and decor in the classic paneled room of the grand old hotel. The new Mr and Mrs were then treated to sweet toasts, a saber for the cake cutting and a full and energetic dance floor!
