Elana and Gordon were married at the Jonathan Edwards Winery in Stonington, CT. The bride and groom chose this picturesque costal venue for their wedding as it was the perfect setting for the elegant and rustic vision they had in mind for their day.
The day started with couple getting ready. Elana put on her finishing touches in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids, family and friends. A favorite fun moment from this part of the day for Elana was when her high school friends got her mom to take a celebratory shot with them all before Elana went off for her first look!
After some final checks of cuff links and tie, Gordon positioned himself among the vines under the perfectly clear and sunny sky and waited for Elana to arrive to their first look. Holding her stunning pastel floral bouquet Elana approached her husband to be, and with a tap on the shoulder, Gordon turned around to see his beautiful bride for the fist time.
The ceremony within the grapes and vines was a perfect and stunning location for Elana and Gordon to recite their vows. Personal vows are always sweet, touching and funny and our bride and groom delighted each other and their guests with theirs. There were even a few tears. After the breaking of the glass and the kiss it was time to celebrate!
Being together and celebrating with all of their favorite people was one of the highlights of the day for Elana and Gordon. Indeed the crowd not only enjoyed beautiful toasts but also an energetic dance floor and amazing music from the band. Of course we cant forget the most memorable song of the night when Gordon, his dad and his brother got up to take over the stage and play a tune for the crowd!
Elana and Gordon, thank you so much for bringing us to the beautiful Jonathan Edwards Winery and for making us part of your very fun wedding day. It was absolutely our pleasure to be there!
