Elena and Chris ~ A Timeless and Romantic Wedding Day at Sacred Hearts Parish and the Estate at Moraine Farm.

Elena and Chris met in college over 7 years ago in accounting class. As they got to know each other they realized how close they had come to crossing paths in the past! Chris grew up in Gilford, NH and Elena’s family had a summer home there. So for years the two spent their summers in the same place, doing the same things in the same places but never met. Elena says she knew from the moment she met Chris that he was the one.

We started our day with Elena as she got ready for the ceremony at her family home. Bridesmaids, family and friends changed from their matching pink pajamas to their emerald green dresses while the bride slipped into her satin gown with lacey and pearl dotted bodice. A detail not to be missed was Elenas emerald earrings to match her maids. The moment her crew got that first look at her at the top of the stairs was one to be remembered and was lovely to capture! In the meanwhile, Chris was putting on his own finishing touches and having one last toasts with his groomsmen before he was off to the church.

Guests gathered at Sacred Hearts Parish in Bradford, MA. Chris stepped out looking dapper in his black tie and tux and the bride soon entered looking lovely and made her way down the aisle to her groom. Both bride and groom said this was on of their favorite moments from the whole day. After the exchange of vows and rings the two sealed their marriage with a kiss and made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife.

Next was on to the Estate at Moraine Farm in Beverly. This incredible property which rests on 175 acres of forest and conservation land was built in 1880 by Fredrick Law Olmstead It was the ideal setting to gather with guests and enjoy the perfect weather. After cocktail hour on the terrace overlooking the lake, guests made their way under the tent and were ready to welcome the bride and groom for their first dance. Tables were adorned with lush eucalyptus and ivory roses. The newly married couple entered the tent to cheers and enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife under the glittering string lights. After heartwarming toasts the dance floor was open and instantly packed with guests ready to party!
