Marissa and Eric met in their collage days at an ugly sweater party 7 years ago in Bristol, RI. The two were so excited to bring family and friends together at the fun and laid back atmosphere of the Barn on the Pemi and give them a chance to explore the Lakes region and maybe even adventure down to the historic city Boston!
We started our day with Marissa and Eric just as guests were gathering in the elegant greenhouse for the ceremony. The men were assembled and ready as Marissa and the ladies arrived on the trolley and waited for their queue to start the procession. The ceremony was indeed filled with many favorite moments for the couple including the wonderful readings by friends, reciting their personal vows and of course that first kiss!
Next was onto the cocktail hour on the grounds of the farm. Guests enjoyed cocktails and finger foods before entering into the barn itself for the reception and were greeted by a wonderful photo table as well as a dining room filled with whimsical decor including moss runners on the tables accented with glittering candles, ivory florals and lush greens. When the bride and groom entered for there first dance the cheers and applause echoed to the hay lofts! The two took the floor for a sweet first dance and then all were seated for a delicious meal and loving toasts from family and friends. Finally, when the dance floor was opened, guests crowded in for a dance party that went into the night.
Marissa and Eric, thank you so much for making us part of your dreamy day. Wishing you both the best I the many tears to come!
