Ashley and Paul ~ A Chic and Romantic Wedding at Belle Mer in Newport, RI.

Ashley and Paul were married and celebrated at the stylish Belle Mer in Newport, RI. This sweet couple met in early 2018 and after a wonderful first date (which started with a lunch and ended with dinner!) they both knew they had found somebody special, very special! Fast forward to a late fall day by the waves and this lovely couple said their “I do’s”.

Ashley and Paul picked Belle Mer for their wedding because they love Newport and being on water. Also, the venue was so pristine and modern that they knew they could take the clean slate and truly make it their own!

We started our day with Ashely getting ready with her circle of lovely ladies. Champagne was popped and the vibe was relaxed and joyful as Ashley opened and read a beautiful card from Paul. Grab a tissue because its absolutely adorable. Ashleys cards to Paul was equally wonderful. We always feel so grateful to be able to hear these personal messages from our couples.

Next Ashley put on her finishing touches with the help of her mom and maid of honor then was off to first look with Paul. But not before giving that FIRST first look to her dad! Ashley looked gorgeous as she snuck up on a waiting Paul with the Jamestown bridge in the background.

Next was the Ceremony which was set on the lawn outside of Belle Mer overlooking the water. Paul and Ashley vows were incredibly touching. Under an arch of lush flowers and with a sweet sea breeze blowing they finally became husband and wife.

On to the celebration! After heartfelt toasts from family and friends and the groom himself, the dance floor was open!! Ashely and Paul, thank you so much for allowing us to create your wedding films. It was an absolute joy to capture your day! ~ Marcella and the LoveLocked Team
