Hannah and Henry ~ A Cozy Maine Wedding at the Barn on Walnut Hill

December 9, 2019

Hannah and Henry met in New York City and clicked instantly. Henry’s proposal on the beach in Marthas Vineyard was a well thought out plot including alpacas (Hannah’s favorite animal) and a photographer hidden in the dunes to capture the moment!

These city dwellers often escaped to Portland for weekends and fell in love with Maine. When they found the Barn on Walnut Hill they knew it was the perfect place for them to spend a whole week before the wedding and then celebrate with family and friends.

The ceremony itself was truly a family affair with Hannahs brother officiating. Henry and Hannah personalized their ceremony by incorporating Jewish traditions and writing sweet vows to each other. Under a canopy of trees and surrounded by love ones the two became husband and wife.

On to the cocktail hour on the lawn of the barn. Hannah and Henry hand picked the food, lawn games and a candy bar for their guests as well as their band to make sure everyone had a wonderful time at the barn and enjoyed a great party! Hannahs dad also created the custom signage welcoming guests as well as the seating chart and place cards.

After the formalities, the band got going and the guests hit the dance floor. Tables were moved out of the way and the disco ball, yes disco ball, was set spinning!

Hannah and Henry, thank you for making us part of your day!

Thank you Rachel Buckley for the gorgeous cover photo! We loved working with you!
