Megan and Michael were married on a gorgeous fall day at the mountainside resort nestled in the White Mountains. This rustic, fall wedding was such a pleasure to capture – full of laughter, fun and tons of charm. This location is the epitome of New England with a beautifully restored post and beam style barn dating back to 1842. Megan and Michael knew that this outdoorsy location would be the ideal locale to celebrate with loved ones while becoming husband and wife.
We began the day as Megan was about to head down the aisle. A stunning outdoor fireplace complete with roaring fire anchored their woodsy ceremony location. Guests gathered under the tree canopy on rustic wood benches as Megan and Michael took lifelong vows.
Following the ceremony, we made our way to cocktail hour where everyone was enjoying themselves with great conversations and fun games before heading inside the restored barn, affectionately known as the Shovel Handle Pub. Twinkle lights, touches of autumn and lots of personal details set the stage for the reception making a romantic and magical atmosphere. These guys also captured their positive and loving attitude with a choreographed first dance – complete with bow and curtsey – so sweet! The newlyweds were celebrated with heartfelt toasts, cake, and a busy dance floor. We loved capturing it and we so hope you enjoy these highlights!
