Abby + Josh ~ Fun Summer Wedding Overlooking Cape Cod Bay

Abby and Josh were married at a private residence in Massachusetts this past summer.

The wedding was hosted at the family home of Abby’s grandmother nestled in Mattapoisett overlooking Buzzards Bay. It was a beautiful day when we joined the couple putting on their finishing touches and preparing for their First Look. There were no shortage of picturesque views for this entire day and the First Look was no different.

The ceremony was set on the lush, green lawn anchored by breathtaking views and a lovely floral arbor. Abby and Josh said their I do’s in front of their nearest and dearest committing to each other for the rest of their lives. Following the ceremony, the couple headed off for a quiet moment and photos as the guest headed over to enjoy cocktails. Taking full advantage of their location, the newlyweds arrived by boat and were greeted by their guests who were cheering them on.

The celebration continued under an absolutely gorgeous Sperry Tent with beautiful flowers, comfy furniture, and classic Cape Cod touches. The reception was jammed with fun moments (Sea Biscuit toss anyone?) as well as romantic and poignant moments. The evening turned into a full-on dance party with everyone getting in on the action.
