Caroline and Stephen met online in June of 2019 and began dating in July. While at the time they lived about an hour away, the came to find out they actually worked around the corner from each other! The New York and Massachusetts natives chose to settle in CT but came back to MA for their ceremony and celebration. They were attracted to Tupper Manor for its elegance , beachside setting and stately facade but also because Caroline’s father grew up in Beverly which made the location extra special as her father had passed when the bride was 18.
We started Caroline and Stephen’s day with the bride in her suite as she finished getting ready for her first look with Stephen. With Mom and maids surrounding her, the bride took care of the finishing touches of her preparation including a lovely framed photo, in the form of a charm, attached to the ribbons of her bouquet, a sweet portrait of her with her dad from her childhood. In another room of the Manor, Stephen was gathered with his men making his own finishing touches in preparation to see his bride and we spent some time with him as cuff links were straightened, the jacket went on and the groom relaxed. The first look took place in front of Tupper Manor and the two were soon joined by their wedding party for portraits. The maids dressed in shimmering platinum gowns and the men with bow ties to match. The portrait session moved indoors for more photos with family before all gathered in the Ball Room for the ceremony which was a lovely family affair with Stephen’s aunt officiating, Caroline’s aunt doing a reading and the brides brother walking her down the aisle.
After cocktail hour, guests made their way into the stunning atrium adorned with more silvery and platinum accents as well as ivory florals and lush greenery, complimenting the bouquets of the bride and her maids. Guests were treated to loving toasts and a wonderful meal before heading back to the ballroom for the party! It didnt take long for things to get started with the dance floor soon filled with celebration.
